Upper Sofa

Elegance can only be silent. This value has turned into the inspiration for Upper. It is an otherwise straight–lined product motivated by the need of people to live on their couch and enjoy its comfort any time of the day. Emphasis has been given on edging details and finishes that make it a perfect match to the urban aesthetic. Legs are made in black chrome and seat in goose feather.

The Upper sofa has a simple but reliable backrest system. This gives you the choice of an upright and firm seat, or a more laid back, lounge experience.

This sofa is custom made in any size, shape or form and is then fitted with the fabric -or leather- of the customers choice. The options, the fabrics and the colour combinations are endless. Therefore we only offer it by order and after extensive communication with the customer.  

Frame: Solid beech wood bindings and marine plywood surfaces on top of a steel frame. Steel legs in "black chrome" finish. 

Padding: Various high quality foam materials.

Seat: Various high quality foam materials, memory foam. Optional goose feathers within a special pocketed sheet to reduce settling and preventing displacement. Note: Feathers always affect the optics of a sofa, giving it a more "loose & uneven" look. The quality of the seat is not affected though. Take time to maintain your feather cushion by knocking it, thus ruffling the feathers inside. If you prefer something more easy to maintain, opt for a "foam only" seat.

Covers: Wide variety in -natural or synthetic- fabrics & leathers. All covers are removable via zipper on the cushions and velcro on all other parts. The properties of the covers are determined by the individual choice of fabric/leather.
