La Lampe Frechin explores the contrast between materiality and immateriality, presence and absence, science and magic. Combining marble, glass and aluminium with a poetic approach to technology, it creates not only light but a distinctive visual experience.

The borosilicate glass lighting tube can be moved between vertical and inclined positions, allowing the form and direction of the lamp to change. A touch-sensitive control on the lamp offers three brightness levels, while the light source can be selected in 2400K or 2700K.

Since 2022, La Lampe Frechin has been part of the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
